Who is the Business website for?

A business that has outgrown 5 pages. Business covers up to 15, so each service, location or product line can have a page of its own, and you edit every one of them yourself in WordPress. If 1 to 5 pages genuinely covers what you sell, Starter at £495 is the honest answer. If you need an online store or a web app, that is Premium, from £3,995.

What happens after a Business site goes live?

You get 90 days of support from launch, so fixes and “how do I change this?” questions in that window are included rather than billed. You own the design, code, domain and content outright. If you want ongoing search work afterwards, SEO Foundation is £299 a month and can be cancelled any time.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a professional business website cost in the UK?

£1,495 fixed in the UK, or $1,895 in the US, for up to fifteen pages with a CMS, advanced SEO and payments. UK market rates for the same specification run from about £1,495 to £5,000, so this is the bottom of that band, published openly rather than quoted case by case.

What is the difference between Starter and Business?

Three things: up to fifteen pages instead of five, a CMS so you can edit the site yourself without paying anyone, and ninety days of support after launch. Business also includes advanced SEO and speed work, bespoke design and animation, and Stripe payments if you need to take money.

Can I edit the website myself afterwards?

Yes. Business is built on WordPress and you get the login, so text, images, prices and pages are yours to change. The first ninety days are covered, so if something breaks or you cannot work out how to do something, that is included rather than billable.

How long does a Business website take?

Two to three weeks from the point the content is with us. Most of that is design and revisions rather than build.

Can you take online payments?

Yes, through Stripe, the same processor this site uses for its own checkout. Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay work out of the box. Stripe charges its own transaction fee, which goes to Stripe rather than to us.

Is £1,495 too cheap for a business website?

It is below the UK agency average, and that is deliberate rather than a sign something is missing. The scope is fixed and published, the studio is small with no sales team to fund, and the same people do the design and the build. What you do not get at this price is a large account team or an open ended scope. If the job genuinely needs those, Premium or a quote is the honest answer.
